Reception: Learning About Africa

We’ve had lots of fun learning about Africa. We made ‘mud’ huts out of clay and added a straw roof. They looked like the huts we had seen in the photos and non-fiction books that we had looked at. We made African jewellery by threading beads on to elastic. After we had watched and listened to some African drumming music, we had a go at drumming ourselves.
