Ladybridge Play Leaders are a group of children who help to organise activities for other children on the playground, whilst raising the profile of sport and PE. They encourage children to join in games, extend friendships, and keep active. The leaderships skills that they have been taught will also help to raise self-esteem and self-confidence.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the children will set up small games on both the KS1 and KS2 playgrounds for children to participate in. Friday will now be our sports challenge day! Children will be able to compete in the week's challenge, as chosen by the Play Leaders, to earn points for their house. These points will then be added to the sports house cup competition points, and help their house in the race to win the final reward and sports house cup trophy.
