School Meals Price Increase

4 July 2017

We are pleased to confirm that the Council has agreed to continue the discounted tariff for the KS2 pupils who pay for meals.  A small increase will be applied to the charge to reflect the rise in increased costs associated with inflation.

From September, the cost of school meals will be £1.40 per day, that’s £7.00 weekly; this is still 70p per day discount on a standard school meal charge.

If you may be eligible for Statutory Free School Meals, please see overleaf for details on where to enquire, and how to claim.

Please note that if you would like to change your child’s meal pattern from school meals to packed lunches, or vice versa, three weeks’ notice is required.  Please contact the school office if you intend to do this.

If paying weekly, £7.00 dinner money should be sent into school every Monday morning with your child, and handed in to their class teacher. If you would prefer to pay for the whole of the autumn 1 half term, the amount due is £46.20. Please remember that payments can be made by either cash or cheque.  If you choose to pay by cheque, please make it payable to “Ladybridge Primary School”.
