Outdoor Adventure

22 March 2017

Our Year 6 students recently swapped their school uniforms, exercise books and lessons in the classroom for sturdy boots, wet weather gear and lessons in the great outdoors at Lledr Hall outdoor and adventure centre in Snowdonia, North Wales. Their usual lessons were replaced with a new timetable of gorge walking, tackling a high rope course and jungle gym, night-time walking and even a disco! It’s an invaluable part of our curriculum, which every year 6 pupil has opportunity to partake in. They learn valuable personal life skills, such as working in teams, endurance, confidence building, problem solving, self-motivation and belief in their own abilities. It’s an invaluable experience. They were fantastic. Mr Watson, Headteacher
